| Seven miles long and 3 miles across, Newfound Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the United States. It is easily reached from Interstate 93, at exit 23. Head west to Bristol and then north on route 3A for about 2 miles. The towns of Bristol, Bridgewater, Hebron, and Alexandria all have frontage on Newfound Lake and there is a 22 mile scenic road around the lake.
